State Support Coordinator (Policy)
Overview
Serve as a liaison to Council state representatives, helping them organize materials,
outreach, and logistics for state‑level advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a lightweight playbook of state resources, talking points, and templates.
- Assist with scheduling, reminders, and follow‑ups for state‑level meetings.
- Coordinate materials for hearings, public meetings, and local media outreach.
- Track state activities and surface needs to staff for rapid support.
Qualifications
- Organized, proactive collaborator with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable coordinating among volunteers and staff.
- Experience with advocacy or field organizing a plus.
Time Commitment
~8–10 hours/week during active legislative periods; lighter otherwise.
